Can some one chop a brother out!

Hi All ...
here is the deal iv got 2 cupboards i want to deck out but i dont know how much light is to much or not enough with amount of space iv got to grow in.for example how many plants, fans, waterpumps , lights ect ...

one of the cupboards is ...
1600 high x 1170 wide by 500 deep ...
ill try and work out how to put some photos up

The second one is a small space which i have only 1 plant in with a 400 hps light ... with a little fan atb and a air vent at the top.. 1600 x 700 x 500
i know kinda dodgey ... but needed a quick fix ne help to improve air flow would be good

On your size, you should be good for a 400w hps for bud, and a 250mh for veg, Both with a 4"or 100mm inline vent at the top for venting, you can then top each off with a small 150mm or 6" desk fan on the floor, keep the ballasts on a shelf.
