Cannabis Cards?

I will have a doctor's recommendation soon and was wondering who issues the card? does the doctor send in the paperwork or do we take the doc's recommendation to the dispensery? Please advise.

usually you get the recommendation, and then the card about 2 minutes afterward.
they just take your pic right there and it spits one out.

Mr B, after getting recommendation from any California licensed Doc apply through the LA County Health Dept for your "State" mandated medical cannabis card.

Or you call MCDs and ask if they'll accept a Dr recommendation in lieu of a card.

There are some "local" cards being issued in LA but their acceptance is limited.

thats true too most places will only want to see the rec, at least around here.

I went to the state website and it says that LA County"not yet accepting applications" I take it the rec letter will have to do.
