Two people have appeared in court after the discovery of what police described as a "cannabis factory" in Peterhead.
A 27-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both foreign nationals and believed to be Vietnamese, made no plea at the town's sheriff court.

The pair were charged with cultivating and supplying cannabis and were remanded in custody.

It followed a police operation at a house in the town's St Mary Street on Thursday afternoon.

The two accused are due to appear in court again next Friday. Their names have not been released.
