Carbon scrubber help Please

I am asking for some help with a carbon scrubber. My room is 12x12x8 1152 cubic feet. I need to know how to determine the correct fan size and the length I would need to build a scrubber. One big enough that will pull out the air and filter? can someone please help me out?

Not an expert but you want a fan that wil draw all the air every 5 mins so 1152/5=230.4. So 250 cfm fan at least. Check out a couple of the sites of the guys that make em for sale and you can get an idea of the dimensions to scrub. Hope this helps a bit.

thanks BCbudd, That is exactly what I needed to know. I will be getting the DIY going this next weekend. I already have a great Idea of what & how I will be making this one. Hoping I can get all the supplies for under $50. I have a grow in veg right now and my son (an adult) keeps telling me,"Mom you've got to get this under control , I can smell it when I walk in the house"...LOL

I just tell him I know and Its in the works. If they smell so strong in veg I can just imagine the bloom and drying. But damn I love the smell of this berry bomb grow.
