Pueblo, Colo. - One southern Colorado community will decide on Tuesday whether to keep recreational marijuana shops.

Pueblo County Commissioners looked at a handful of projects funded by marijuana tax money on Wednesday morning.

Future projects that depend on tax money from marijuana won't get funded if ballot initiatives 200 and 300 pass on Tuesday.

Some projects funded by marijuana tax include medical marijuana academic research, park improvements, and rehabbing trails.

Pueblo County Commissioner Sal Pace says money from marijuana has made an impact in Pueblo County.

"One thing people cannot dispute is the fact that both excise marijuana revenue and excess marijuana revenue have impacted the community in a positive way. We provided a long list of how these projects have impacted and improved the community," said Pueblo County Commissioner Sal Pace.

Voters who will be voting to shut down recreational marijuana shops say they've seen problems like an increased homeless population in the area.
