CO2Meter AQ100 as CO2 Controller

is a meter for $229 that measures CO2, Temperature, and Relative Humidity.

Here's the thing. You can hack it to control a cheep CO2 regulator. Like one for $80 on Amazon.

By adding a $2 Omron G5V-1 relay you can swith 125VAC for 0.5 A.

That's a 62.5W device. BTW that CO2 Regulator draws only 10 mA or 1.25W.

And that's not all! I feel like a damn commercial... You can chart with this in real time:

The above image is of my Closed Grow Box running two 600W lights with 8" ICE BOXES on each. You can See how my Temperature climbs through the night.

As the CO2 Releases, the Temp falls and the RH climbs...

I started this thread to show other's how I set this up. I'm an electrical engineer and was told that other's can't do this. But I think it's easier than people think. And as I turn people on to my hack, I'm pointing them here to get the details.

I work a Full Time Job. And I'm running my personal Grow Op. So, please be patient with my updates.

Hope you enjoy

Probably uses the same board as a more pricey unit, they just omit the relay to "dumb it down"
