Hi fellow growers!
When I last visited my local junkyard I found a ballast for 100W compact HPS:

..which was irresistible for A scavanger as my self.
-Have you ever seen such small HPS? 5000lumen in 2500K?

Is it possible to ignite a "ordinare" (70-100W) HPS-bulbs with this? they (compact bulbs) were very expensive i just found out. :rolleyes3

Bulb ~10$, for same amount I could get a 250W bulb, ballast & reflector.
