Conference Call Briefing On First Medical Marijuana Lawsuit

For the first time in nearly 20 years, the United States Court of Appeals is about to hear oral arguments in a lawsuit challenging the federal government's classification of marijuana ASA : Medical Marijuana Patients Get Their Day in Federal Court with the Obama Administration as a
dangerous drug with no medicinal value: Americans for Safe Access v. Drug Enforcement Administration. This historic case will finally force a federal court to review the scientific evidence regarding the therapeutic value of marijuana.

Americans for Safe Access ASA : Advancing Legal Medical Marijuana Therapeutics and Research, the country's leading medical marijuana patients advocacy group, will hold a news conference call to brief journalists on the case this Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Noon Eastern / 9 am Pacific Time.

"Medical marijuana patients are finally getting their day in court," said ASA Chief counsel Joe Elford. "What's at stake in this case is nothing less than our country's scientific integrity and the imminent needs of millions of patients."

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit will hear opening arguments on the case the morning of October 16, 2012.

I guess that the news was so bad no one wanted to talk about it..From what i could find the safe access folks were just blown off with same old ,same old....Like I said ,there must be some big money wanting things to stay the same....How sad. money can change anything or keep it the same!!! .......Someday things will change..... c ya,Red
