D.W.C. not workin for me

I have been putting my clones in a homemade deep water culture unit and it is killin my clones. Theybegin to root and then just stop and start to rot. I have plenty of oxygen coming in through 6 airstones i just don't get it. I'm thinking of just going back to dirt or even coco coir for veg, then switch to hydroton in my drip system (which is working fine) for flowering. Any thoughts?

what are the air/water temps and humidity? have you consider tenting cuttings with a dome until roots are fully established?

Yeah i have been usin a dome and misting twice a day. on one clone i had roots starting in two days but thats it. air temp is around 80f i dont know the water temp right off hand

if air temp is 80, and rez is not chilled, its likely that its too hot in the rez.

what temp should i keep the water? I really want to use the system i've seen some great results people are getting on this site with it. basically i'm tryin to get the most out of my twelve plant limit but i'm hittin a roadblock.

Im no DWC specialist , but generally hydro rez temps should be under 70-75 max and above 60-65 for best dissolved oxygen and resistance to rez rot.
