DIY net pot inserts

We all know how exspensive these neoprene inserts are.
Lets spend penies instead of dollars for these little babies.

Here are the tools your going to need.

a drill of some sort. cheap cordless.

a utility knife

a cookie cutter. This 1 is a 2" bought it at home goods store.

a 2" hole saw with arbor

A roll of 1/2" neoprene. Bough 10' roll for like $10 it will make a lot of inserts.

Let's get started.
First you want to place your cookie cutter inside your holesaw, it holds in there pretty snug.

Then you need to roll out your neoprene and just start cutting away. You can cut these out quick, just do 1 at a time.

Before you know it you'll have a pile of them.

Then take your knife and cut a slit in them.

This is what it will look like.

Check them for fit in your net pot.

And that's it easy smeasy.

I should of mentioned that you don't have to order neoprene, you can go to Homedepot and buy those 2'X2' cushion floor put together mats and make colored ones also.
They cut out cleaner too.
