Dying branches in the center of a bushy plant, will removing all at once promote hermaphroditism?

Hey all, i’ve got 8 ladies in the ground in week 2-3 of flower. today i was doing some final clean-ups on them before putting cages around them, as the buds are getting more established, and the wind here can get nasty.

anyhow- i got to my girl scout x trinity plant, got a view from below, and noticed a bunch of branches in the middle of the plant that were dying, some big some small. almost positive it’s because of a lack of light, this thing is super bushy & i haven’t gotten to defoliate in a while.

anyhow, do you think removing a bunch of these at once will promote hermaphroditism? surely don’t want that.. but these branches clearly aren’t gonna produce anything..

exit* i went with my gut and removed them all.. seemed like the right thing to do

after removing dying branches vv
