First Time Growing - Help?

So I'm gonna start growing for the first time and I was just wondering if their were any tips anyone could give me. Or a strand that's relatively easy to grow for a beginner.

What kind of a setup do you have for a grow room. You always want to make sure you pic a strain that wont over grow your room

Ok. Well i personally recommend purple kush. Easy plant to grow and dosnt get really tall. It dose have a high yield and high potency. Very fun plant to grow. Are you thinking soil or hydro?

No not yet. Like I'm trying to figure everything out first and then I'm going to start buying all the stuff and put it together.
