Set these guys off on 8/9. Strain is Golden State Killer. Regular seeds. Had a rough start. Light fell on them crushing one. Knocked them both down just before breaking ground, found the seeds and replanted them. This happened twice lol but now they Both seemed to have recovered and are looking good. Currently Using a Home Depot 30 watt, 3000 lm , 4000k LED fluorescent light for 4 weeks then switching to 12/12. In flower they will go under a king led 1000w light. (Low end amazon light) inside a 3x3x 5 tent.
Using fox farms ocean Forrest soil in a one gal smart pot. No nutes however I am contemplating on using the fox farms trio line and also I’m Using pH’ed tap water through your their life span.

Home Depot sells lighting products that have both LEDs and fluorescent light(s) in one device? Interesting...

Anyway, if you join a general purpose indoor gardening forum and ask how many watts per square foot you'd need to grow leaf lettuce, the answer you're most likely to get is, "For leaf lettuce and other low-light plants, 25 to 30 watts per square foot will be fine." However, cannabis is not leaf lettuce; in both relative and absolute terms, it requires a great deal of light. If the product you are referring to is the 185-watt King Plus "1000w," know that you'll have 20.56 watts per square foot when you stick it into a grow space of nine square foot of area. Therefore, if you were, instead, trying to grow leaf lettuce in there, well... you'd have some skimpy plants.

The only real use for those things is as a means of transferring money from the pockets of (meaning no disrespect) ignorant newbies to the pockets of some Chinese guy. And, for that, they seem to be pretty successful, lol. Sadly, it is not legal to grow cannabis in all 50 states. On the other hand, it IS legal to grow tomato plants everywhere in this country. So... What you should do is to scrap those seedlings, and fill your 3'x3' grow tent with tomato plants. Those also require a decent amount of light - when that grow fails miserably due to lack of light, call a lawyer who specializes in class-action lawsuits and schedule an appointment. Print out the add for that product, highlight the "replaces a 600w HPS" lie, take pictures of your failed tomato garden, and suggest to the lawyer that he/she sue the company for, IDK, 30 million dollars or so, lol. While you're at it, print the ads from 100 or so other comparable pieces of shit that are also being sold on Amazon's website, and give them to the lawyer, too, so that the person can add all of those companies plus Jeff Bezos to the lawsuit.

That ought to be an easy win for the lawyer. He'll bag something between $7,500,000 and $10,000,000 (lawyer's cut for class action lawsuits varies, but is generally between 25% and 33.3%). You and the other newbies will probably only end up receiving about twelve dollars each, though, so you might want to get yourself added to the lawyer's staff in some capacity or other before the damage award. Internet Research Assistant should work, since you were the one who printed the materials that would be just about all the lawyer would need to pick this particular cherry.

Or you could grow some skimpy leaf lettuce plants in your tent. OR... If you want to grow cannabis with it, and have a relatively successful crop, stick it in a space no larger than 23"x23".

IMHO.
