Health of plants?

I have 2 clones of gorilla bomb in my 18gal tote dwc. they are 5 days old..i have had to change rez already one time due to some murky water and bubbles. Figured out it was some heavy light leaking in. I have corrected the problem but was curious about the health of my plants. This is my first grow so just want to make sure they are doing ok.

Curious why you clipped the tips off?

The tips were cut off by the dispensary prior to receiving the clones. i have read that it helps the plant focus on root growth during early development. I'm hoping that the bit of yellowing is either from that or just the natural process of the plant using some of its older leaves fo root growth. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
