A heat lamp produces "heat" which can cook your plants. Make sense?

do you have any gardening experience ie vegatable garden?
your plants in an indoor grow need light air temp and a grow media that it gets food from
light 2000-7000 lumens for every foot square of grow space floor ie old fridge cab 15 inch by 20 inch floor 2-cfls
both draw 42 watt eqivalent to 150 watt? ok for veg but would much betterif i upgrade to 2-CFLs that draw 65 or 85 watts
these are the 250-300 watt equivelent usually called garage orshop cfls [saw some art lowes this week 16-23 $ each bulb]
these should be 3 inches to a foot away from plants
air cabinet should have two air vents passive [no fans ] or active [fan helps move air] usually one low one high up to dump heat naturally computer fan or two will work for small spaces [there are links to fan size to rooms size formulas around this board]
temp any temp from 50 % to 85 % F will work [best temps 65-75 %]
food delivery media: fancy name for dirt can also be soilless mix [peat,sand graves clay balls perlite etc] or a hydroponic
liquid water plus minerals or high tech aeroponic air &mist of hydro type nutes
simplewst grow cab i can do with all this in a house with heat that is comfortable to a normal human---
large cardboard box two clampon light fixtures two CFL bulbs drawing at least 40-60 watts small fan timer duct tape cut small holes on opposite sides box one high one low cut two little holes in top for light cords take clamps off light and push cords up thru topof box so sockets hang put fan in box with back up against low air hole put bulbs in hanging sockets for pots of dirt under bulbs plug light in to timer duct tape gaps cords etc so you don't to hold stuff 24/7 put in seeds plants apply water andf time
hope this makes those grow cab direction and journals make more sense to you and show you what you CAN DO FOR YOURSELF if you plan and know what you need for inside plants
