How many curing jars?

Hi folks,

I’m about to purchase some half gallon or one gallon jars for curing and I would appreciate some help with how many folks think might be needed. I’ve never grown outdoors before, these plants are much bigger than my previous autos and I have no good guess at the yield.

I have two half-gallon jars (68 ounce, they say) and I was going to purchase six more identical ones. Enough?

You will want to figure out how many jars for curing by estimating half full jars. I often opt for more jars that will be half full over packing the still drying buds to capacity. Less chance of mold. Just what works for me. Although opening 15 jars to burp is a pain but the end product is worth it. Good luck! Beautiful plants my friend!!

Thank you! I wasn’t expecting them to be this big.

So maybe more like 16 then. Yikes, haha. Maybe 8 half gallon and 4 gallon jars, for ease of management.
