How much perlite?

How much perilite should i add to my organic soil? Also my plant is 4 weeks old and i was going to attempt to just add the perilite as deep as i could in the soil...bad idea? And if not, should i transplant again?

I use a 3 part mixture. 1 Part FFOF, 1 Part Promix BX and 1 part Perlite. So my whole mixture is a little more then 1/3 perlite (since both the FFOF and the promix have perlite in them)
