Red cabbage (or berries, or roses) are used along with a bit of isopropyl or ethanol in this mix. I found it fascinating to learn how easy it is to make your own test strips. I just happen to love cabbage, berries and roses, not necessarily in that order

Now that is interesting. Definitely not something I would think would be a do it DIY project lol.

I make a lot of my own stuff but I am not sure testing equipment is where I would go it. I have no idea of how much they cost. I am sure hydro growers use a ton of them though.
