Brilliance is found with broken wings
Like imperfections on us all
the downfalls in which we share
become the weakspots that we call
its when we see these broken wings,
held in a brighter light,
that we overlook impurities
and see with open eyes
not anyone is "perfect"
cause no such thing exists
its because of our imperfections
that we see ones perfectness
so come to me in rarest form
and ask me what i'd say
my response would be
its good to see your perfect on this day

Very interesting .I thought the poem had alot of depth and meaning.You know something is good when someone else can get something from it that maybe wasnt your intent.A good poem has a thousand meanings..?I been writing songs,poems or whatever you wanna call them off and on for the last 20 years+.a few of them i put to music back when i had more time.but i have never really shared them with anyone but maybe bandmates from the past or a friend once in blue moon.{its been atleast a year since i wrote anything}Maybe sometime i will drag some out.It takes guts to put your thoughts and feelings outthere for people to disect.Keep it Up.
