Limp Stems

The stalk on my afghani kush is so puny compared to my wife's og kush. How can I add some gerth to my stalk and branches?

Probably the best thing for bigger/stronger stalk/branches is Silica (Si) an example is General Hydroponics Armor Si...usually adding Silica will make the pH of the nutrient solution go up...just FYI
