Lumatek with fan or without

What is everyone thoughts on the Lumatek 1000w ? You like the new models w fan or the old ones without? I see it as something that can wear out & the add on fan if you need it a better way. I am replacing some old magnetic ballast... Those things last forever but time to upgrade to digital. Other brands. Considered too... I like the 5 yr warranty on Lumatek & actually have one of their ballast & never a problem.

To fan or not to fan?

They're bringing out the fan because they were having a lot of problems. They had a pretty high return rate for a while.

I'm currently selling the Hypotek ballast which is damn near identical to Lumatek and Galaxy.

Same 5 yr warranty? I need to look into different brands- def not opposed

Yes same warranty. Dimmable features etc. Here's a link with some more info.
