i have two floodlights with flourex bulbs in it
one is 37w = 500w (6825 lumens)
and 100w = 1000w (6825+) i smoke too much and cant remember
will that be enough to grow a couple plants????

Like they always say more light is always better. And hell yeah hps are made for flowerin so it will help it pack more weight on in flowerin.. If u can you should at least get a 150hps.

but i can get this 90 for 19 bucks

WHere are u getiin a hps for 19 bucks. Not saying anything but lets make sure u are uying the right thing.. A hps or high pressure sodium need a specail ballast, and special bulb. and the hps bulbs dont screw into normal light fixtures. So on that note what are u lookin at that is 19 buck. I got a 150 hps balls for like 120 or something a lil cheaper.

from my job we clearanced them out for some new ones and i "accidently" put one waaaaaaaay on the top shelf where no one can see it

give it at least a foot you can adjust when you get familiar with it. If you can, hang it from a chain, that way it's easy to adjust. Depending on how you fasten it anyway. Then when the bulb has been running for awhile place your hand under it to feel the heat if it's hot to you it's going to be hot to your plant

i was gonna use my two floods get 2200w cfl's anf use the 90 hps with the other lights for flowering.
you think i could grow like two or three plants under those lights using LST

I'm not sure what those lights are. Are they flourescents? cause if so it's cool, but if there incandescent flood lights I wouldn't use them

io have a 67w = 500w
a 100w = 1000w
then i was gonna get a couple of 200w cfls from wal mart

and for flowering i was gonna use the light i use for veg with a 90 hps lamp
