Mangled seedling

A mouse killed one of my 6 seedling and another got mangled. It only has a set of fan leaves left. Is that enough to live and sprout new leaves. I've topped plants but never this small. Got rid off the mouse and hope that's it.

I killed the plant 2 months ago...and threw the pot in my shed....basically no light and no water....life finds a way
