As more states recognized the benefits of medical marijuana some issues have arisen. One such issue is using medical marijuana and living in federal housing. Recently in the news an 87 year old woman has been evicted from her housing for using medical marijuana for her painful arthritis. The federal government said they wouldn't interfere with states that have medical or recreational marijuana programs, but obviously they aren't holding true to their word.
