A Bozeman couple has been ordered to pay $450,000 after pleading guilty to federal drug charges related to their medical marijuana business.

Mark and Valerie Sigler owned Big Sky Patient Care, a medical marijuana provider with locations in Dillon, Big Sky and Bozeman. Their business was among those raided in March 2011 in a federal crackdown on large medical marijuana providers in the state.

The Siglers previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture, distribute and possess marijuana with intent to distribute.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy sentenced 60-year-old Mark Sigler to six months home arrest and 38-year-old Valerie Sigler to one year home arrest. They were ordered to pay $450,000.
