Outgoing Secretary of State Jason Kander has approved 12 ballot petitions for circulation in Missouri.

Two of them aim to legalize and tax marijuana for recreational and medical use.

Ten more pertain to collective bargaining agreements.

Supporters have about 18 months to gather the roughly 160,000 signatures needed to get the issues on the ballot.

If they do, there will be a statewide vote in November 2018.
