Hi,
I want to present you my home made led system.
I am happy of it! It works good since 6 month.
An it allow me to learn how to grow.
I have a very small grow closet, I use mainly blue light to make small plant.
Every to weeks The plant are shifted to the next lamp from the right to left.

The first lamp has 3 Led and a Knob, to switch between one 660 nm or one 660 nm, one 450 nm and one 430 nm.
It is maiden by glueing leds on a metalic pot cover.

The second has 5 leds one 660 nm two 450 and two 430.
on a pot cover bigger than the first one.

The Third one: the 'Frying pan'
7 leds one 660 four 450 and two 430.
Sticked on a 15 cm x 15 cm frying pan.

The fourth one:
9 leds one 640 nm two 660 nm two 430 and four 450 nm
Glued on 0.5 mm metal pannel (25 x25 cm)
The corner are folded to center the leds to the plant base.

All the leds are connected serial to a 300 ma driver.

With Males and females connectors system and a terminating loop, i can add or remove lamp as the need.

The consumed power measured is 18w.

That's pretty cool man, but doesn't seem like a whole lot of light. I'm kinda curious, how big of plants are you able to grow under those?

Here is a purple bud.

Grown with my system.

The plant is 33 days from germination, 18 cm tall and has 12 sets of leaves

I grow mainly with blue to have compact plants.

What do you think of it ?

Absolutly good work:thumb: (18W and i cant see any deffency).

But i think Low stress training(do an Bend) u can make it better to optimize this small Area.

Can u make an larger(complete) picture of your Grow Room.

I'm totally looking forward to joining you when I get the ball rolling on my LED build. I love your resourcefulness, that frying pan had me laughing at first.

I use the frying pan because for me it has a good thermal dissipation.
But it is overdone.
Look at the one maiden with an iron sheet (0.5 mm thick) it has a good thermal dissipation and it is easy to made.

By the way: I use standart glue which resist to heat to stick the leds.
