Need opinions on lighting addition

I have 2.5 x3.5 x 3
running 250 shps from hortilux w cool hood
room temp steady at 76 to 78 40% rf little dry.
My exhaust fan and duct work vent outside .
Passive air induction
2ft above dwc which is 27gal
thinking I my need a400watt hps upgrade
or a mh with the 250 above.
I low R auto's

A 400 watt HPS will cover the area rather well. If you are going to run another 250, I would stick with the HPS or run two ceramic HPS'.

If you can handle the heat. I would say go for a 600 watt hps.

Most efficient wattage to lumen's

I ran LED last time
I dont have the room to run the size I would need .In fact I just returned a 200w bloooster
I ran 8 cfl and bloom booster 200w was very disappointed in the. Yeild.

prior to that 16cfl 12/12after 1 week veg Flying D Bberry . Turned out good
now running 250hps hortilux
400 hps is on its way.

Are led's that good if you have to supplement with hps also? They cost so much would hope that they worked

I was impressed by. Qaulity of c the CLW's led is top of the line.
Iwill get another one. When a space is dc not an issue.
Elinor Cal light works is wonder A1 customer service and esy to talk to
I recommend them .
