Big changes could soon be coming to the business of medical marijuana. There are business owners who want out of the game before it even begins.

There can be big money in the business of Medical Marijuana. However, the owners of the businesses have been spending with no return, and now some are looking to get out.

A state law lets the marijuana businesses make money selling their license to another company that will eventually get into the medical marijuana business.

Why, you might ask? It's been two years of patient planning for dozens of companies. They're all fighting for licenses to sell medical marijuana. They've spent millions of dollars, but there's one big problem: zero sales.

In fact, the two dispensaries actually open in Clark County still have empty shelves, and some are ready to regain some of their losses by selling their license.

Getting a license to sell medical pot was like winning the lottery: hundreds applied, only a handful were licensed. But now license holders can sell that license to anyone, and the people buying in only have to pass the background checks.
