Newbie needs help

I'm very new to growing i've been doing research on it for a while, I want to create a little grow closet for max 4 plants (Medicinal), What lights would be the best for both vegging and flowering and what filters should I use to get rid of the smell? Thanks.

You know, not to be a smart ass, but a simple google search would've provided you with Metal Halide lighting for vegging and High Pressure Sodium for flowering. As for smell, carbon filter and, if it's a really pungent strain, a couple of Ona Gel tubs opened by the plants. You asked for the best, so there they are.

Thanks for the info! I tried a few google searches and it mostly came up with answers similar to yours but I thought i'd ask people with experience instead of just taking the word of google results.
