Nutrients question please help

ok so ive got a couple of seedlings growing in some plastic cups at the moment and im using fox farm grow big for my veg stage.ive been doing tons of research but im still a lil confused on the subject. i know your supposed to use 1/4 of the recommend dosage n that you water your plant first but do you mix the nutes wit water or do you just use the straight nutes on the soil? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated!

Mix in water, your soil might have nutes enough for a couple weeks though, i never used the soil you have so im not sure. But definitely mix nutes in water

Always always mix your nutes in water first. Almost all nutrients on the market are concentrates and will wreak havoc on your plants if used straight.

If mixing multiple nutes add them to water don't mix them up together in concentrated form.
