One Seed-One Plant?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if I were to find a seed in one of my buds(high potent stuff), would I be able to grow a plant with only that one seed?
How do I know if it's male/female?

you can easily grow one plant from one seed. might want to start with more incase something goes wrong.
