Pistils browning at 35 days? Pics included

Hi, fellow growers, this is my first grow and I was hoping you could take a look at the buds and tell me if its normal for the pistils to start to brown up at 35 days. The plant was gifted to me and all I know is the strain (Cotton Candy) but there are various flowering times depending on who made the hybrid.

Please take a peek and give me your opinion.
