Please help! Buds turn purple, don’t produce THC, and die

Hi guys. Can someone please help diagnose this bud disease? Here is the progression. Perfectly fine, then some buds start turning purple. Eventually all buds turn purple, don’t produce any THC, and the whole plant dies. Can’t find anything about this on the weekend internet and need help! Thanks in advance!

Turning purple isn't a problem thats likely genetic.
Are you sure it isn't a CBD Hemp strain?

The strain i am just starting right now looks just like this and its about 20% CBD and less than 1% THC

Doesn't really look like black soot mold

Hi! Just got a few responses that it is a disease caused by leaf hoppers called a photoplasma infection it’s a viroid. Make sense to anyone? Apparently it’s prevalent in New York
