please help dont know whats wrong

ive got a n/l strain and ive noticed a sandy coloured crust powder on the stem its only on the lower stem ive looked at powdery mildew but i thought that hit its extremity's like its leaves first dont know what to do ive got two other strains that are not affected just wondering if someone has any info on it

Can you post a picture of it. We can make a more educated guess with a picture.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary. It looks perfectly normal to me. You can keep an eye on it but it looks ok.

Looks to me like the stem is just getting that hard woody covering that they all do in time.
