It doesn't rhyem not does it have much rythem but it was something I wrote blazed and is the only poem I have ever writen. I have had people tell me it's really good and others say it's a steaming pile of shit so if you have anything to say please let it be a creative critique.

The assignment was to write a reflection on Shakespeare's Seven Ages of Man and this is what I came up with.
-----
And new life finds itself
with red bottomed cheeks,
breaking into a world so crowded,
seeming to forget its own past as age piles on.
Soon a world of subliminal messages
echo through the minds of the youngest youth
and the fragmented building blocks
of life begin to appear.
Reason is then found and fondness follows with a curious
and scattered mind. Then a new imitated
maturity follows that could never be
self-regarded as the bird whom
dived gloriously from the benefactor of
his mother's nest.
Experience from disaster
flows in the depths of the new found
dignified mind and love is sought,
and when all is withered,
lost love is again brought forth.
A Sluggish halt commences
and a dawdling life is lived
and a long lost toy of understanding
is pondered once again.
When all is calm a welcomed chaos
is brought and pride and love shines down
upon a new but reminiscent face.
Again stability is found
and the life of your own resemblance unfolds
as you close the final chapters of your own
and when all makes sense age grabs you
and closes your book
leaving wisdom to be found once again
in your own successors.
