Reverse osmosis ppm still 380

I bought a 50 Gpd ro unit and the ppms are still 350-400 even after calibration of my meter

Some have to run some gal thru it to start working correct at least that´s what my manual said.
My ec pen came some days after the ro unit so I never tested it at the start but now it is 0,02 ec.
