Guys and Gals,
Currently using a BCNL Bloombox. Pics in my journal, link in my sig.
I just started using this system not long ago. It has reservoir, planting cups that hang below the lid of the reservoir. Water with a drip system.
There are air stones that run 24/7.
That said, with this system there is no alternative but to have the roots, at some point, soaking in the solution. My roots also look to be caked with nute buildup. My questions are:
Should the roots under this condition be pearly white with no buildup?
Is it OK for the roots to be soaking in the solution?
Any help or links to info on roots in this type of system would be appreciated.
My plants are looking fine. I just wanted to head off any potential problems.
