Seed companies and their strains?

We know there are certain Seed Companies that are breeders like Paradise Seeds and Green House Seed Co.
There are other Seed companies that just sell the strains from the breeders.

How do the seed companies that just sell the seeds get them? Are they just reselling what the breeders have sold or are they growing out the strains themselves and producing their own seeds from the breeders strains?

I would think it all depends on the reviews/reputation that you research.

I've never had to buy seeds, but I would only trust those that you verify have proven trustworthy.

look closely. are they seedbanks, or breeders? herbies, and ams, for just two, are re-sell places. reseach will tell you who is a breeder. for a newbie, id reccomend nirvana (breeder). herbies, is a resell. also, bombseeds. (breeder). sannies (breeder). but, sannies streins i dont feel are for beginners. i wont use greenhouse, or ams again.

Another member helped me out with an explanation. The "breeders" have extra stock they need to get rid of and the seed companies just buy them in bulk. So the strains available from the sellers are the same genetics supplied by the breeders only they've changed hands an extra time.
