What is the difference between say crop king seed and regular seed other than being female seed? I have both purchased seed and seed from another plant.
When planting crop king seed I noted a high mortality rate with only one surviving.
My regular seed grows with no special instructions and no germination.
All my plants grew great in pro mix but with crop king it said no fertilizer and regular soil and that's what I did. The crop king seeds failed but they are sending me more free.
For a test I planted lemon haze in regular soil and they are growing great.
So what is it with these special seeds? I planted 30 plant and one ck came up out of 5.
I am not a veteran grower however I have 30 plants to that say that method worked and one crop king plant that is struggling.
So stick with what I know and I believe the crop king instructions are flawed as I did everything to the letter. I could have screwed up but based on what I did I am pretty confident crop king seed will do fine in pro mix

I don’t really pay attention to those instructions, I just do what works for me. Next time do it just like the other seeds that have worked for you.

The arguement could be made that the genetics are not yet stable. I believe that the botonists or whoever at the major seed companies ran into the same sort of issue when they were developing seeds for the various tomatoes, peppers, corn and what not for the farm and home garden market.

Yes that makes sense I was just a wee bit miffed after they failed.
