Just now noticed an annoying humming coming from both my ballist.Is that normal?I turned off the radio and heard it for the first time .HAS it been there all along?Man i hope so.Does any body no the answer?
I think they all make a lil noise, newer digi ballast'-- not so much compared to the older gear... i barely notice the hum over the constant ringin n my ears from them howitzers going off n my youth... after awhile it'll jus seem like white noise n the background... now f u can hear it over the exhaust fans n other stuff... I'd say ur ballast is F'd... FYI LED/T-5s r VERY quiet, comparatively... of course, I'm only supposing ur running a MH/HPS lighting system, so YMMV... Aloha!
