Switched to 12/12, but NEED HELP PLEASE

Hey all,

I have been reading these forums for quite some time. I am using a 12 gal Deep Water Culture setup. it is now the 3rd week of vegging and the nute ppm was 550ppm. she was handling perfectly, no burning or anything just healthy green leaves. she is 6 inches now and I wanted to start 12/12. I drained the reservoir and added more nutes to where the ppm is now 900ppm with the ph just under 6.0. I thought she would be able to handle it. 1 hour later I checked up on her and she was wilting. Why? I am going to reset the reservoir to what it was before 550ppm. Is this a smart way to go and see what happens? Please any help would be great!

It appears that possibly doubling the ppm was the cause. If that is so, it would be easy to remedy. Take about 1/4 the water out and replace it with pH balanced water and no nutes.

I do need to say, I 've seen a lot of nute burn from over feeding and I have not seen wilting happen so fast, from over feeding. Normally, you see those yellow tips first.
