Temperature Regulation w/ Thermostats and Air Conditioning

I wanted to set up a Cooling/heating thermostat with a air conditioner. Anyone know any good prices for a cheap small air conditioning unit? My box is really only 2 1/2 x 3 x 7, and my room is about 12 x 10. So technically I only need about 5000 btu or probably less. I wanted to try to stay around 200 or less.

The weather is getting warmer. I run my 12/12 so it turns on at 8:30 pm and off at 8:30 am and day time temps are 78. so thats okay but what about when it warms up? tsk tsk.

Not sure man. check out your local appliance store for any scratch and dent stuff. Or check classifieds for used systems

When our weather starts warming up here, I change my lights on from 6:30 AM-6:30 PM to 6:30 PM-6:30 AM, and have the dark cycle during the daytime... It sucks on the weekends when I want to get in there and play, but helps me with temps bigtime.
