Temps and cold resistance?

How low of a temp can a healthy plant take? At night, it can get pretty cold where I live, and I want to make sure I've thought everything through. Are sativas or indicas better geared for the outdoors?

Nobody? I know it can get cold at night just about no matter where you live. No outdoor growers with an opinion? It doesn't get much colder than 35 F. but if that is gonna kill my plants, then there's no point.

Hey, I don't grow outdoors, but if it gets that cold your plants will die.

There are a some strains that take cold, but if you get a good frost or freeze they will die. Here is a good thread to read.

Awesome. I've was told by a friend that most sativas some indicas could handle the cold, but I don't want to invest my time and money setting it up until I confirm it.
