trichromes appear powdery after cure?

After curing I notice my bud trichromes always appear a little powdery. I look under a microscope and all I see is a bunch of trichromes nothing out of the norm. But a visual inspection it looks as though the trichromes have a powdery appearance rather than a crystal like appearance... it's definitely not a mold. I know a picture would help but I can't get one up for another couple days. Does any one else's bid look like this after a nice long cure or should they still look like crystal?

Heard some hearsay about a guy using snow storm ultra from Humboldt county's own and that happening. I used it with no issues. But that's all I've ever heard about that.
