Hey errybody so I have a quick question. When trimming. Do I trim the giant leaves that look like they serve no purpose but to block sunlight for the lower part or is that not how it works???? Can't find a definite answer thanks!

When you say trim, do you mean after harvest?

If you mean defoliating, yeah, you snip the big leaves that are blocking light to buds underneath.

No my bad I meant prune**** I need to smoke lol

Yeah, I'd trim the big fan leaves that are blocking light to lower buds. I wouldn't go crazy and snip them all though. Those are solar panels for the plant.

Why are you "defoliating"? Is it in flower? I only defoliate after 20 or so days into flower to open bud site as zero said, and then again at day 40 (depending on strain)
And those giant leaves you're talking about, are storage for the food and energy she has worked so hard to photosynthesize

These are them after I pruned em. They look much better & the only reason the leaves look funny is cuz it's a lil windy that's why I'm making that wooden brace
