sorry man I don't got a computer at my house only at work so its sometimes hard for me to upload (takes some serious multitasking)..The tips haven't yellowed I don't give them a lot of nutes. I feed them from that General Hydroponics chart and I usually skip nutes every 3rd watering and just use distilled water...

The leaves turn brown shrivel up and fall off..

yeah man, this looks like nute burn to me, I'd flush 'em and give em some time to utilize the nutrients you gave them, then lower the amount you give them and see how they take it.
