In reference to 12 on 12 off, when is the best time to water plants: just before lights come on or before they go off??

Hey NewbieRick!
You shouldn’t disturb your ladies while they are resting, so I’m assuming you meant after lights on? I don’t ‘really’ grow in dirt (100% hydro), but I water my mothers in dirt as close to lights on when I don’t just leave them in 24/7 light. I figure they get thirsty when we get thirsty. I never get thirsty at night. Probably awful logic and hope someone else have something a lil more scientific maybe?!?

Hydro also , I just water my mother plants when they tell me to . And it’s in daylight, but there’s always a but with me . The other night we sat on the patio and mama purple punch was drooping so I grabbed a bucket of ro water and 20 minutes later we’re back !

Lights on 6p-6a, so in that case, watering when lights on should be fine.
