What to Do With the Males?

Hi all.

Despite buying feminized seeds, I'm pretty sure I have several male plants. Seven of my ten seeds sprouted, all plants are healthy but at least five of the seven are male. Very disappointed!

Should I contact the seed company or am I just out of luck?

Also, what should I do with the male plants? I've read lots of feedback saying to destroy them. Is there any THC value in them at all?

Thanks, zBRiCKz. I already moved them away form the males. Just sent an email to the seed company asking if they would replace the seeds. We'll see what they say.

What will happen to the females? Will they not produce buds?

Males produce buds but it's not very much at all, most of the plants work goes into creating pollen sacs.

Females however, will produce little undeveloped seeds which fill up with resin and thc rather than seed "organs". This process only happens if the females aren't pollinated by the males.

This is why we prefer female plants, they produce more thc and more bud.
