What works best: Topping or Fimming?

I have yet to start my 1st grow (surgery). I have been reading through the notes I've assembled. A question came to mind.

Topping or fimming: which way to go?

Depends how much training you want to do IMO. Messy bush = FIM. Nice even canopy = top. Obviously you need to keep training after you top. Check out quadlining or other techniques.

If height is a problem just select the right strains. Autos will help if you want your first harvest quicker.
